Tiger is no stranger to Japan, having played the Dunlop Phoenix in the past.
In November of 2006, Tiger Woods participated in a charity event, "The Dream Challenge Charity Match," held at the Masters Golf Club for developing men's golf in Japan.
This charity event was the start of a relationship between Nobuta Group President Kunio Nobuta and world superstar Tiger Woods.
Given the earthquake disaster that struck the northeastern part of Japan in March this year, Nobuta asked Woods to support a charity event for earthquake and tsunami relief, and Woods has kindly accepted the invitation to cooperate in the event.
Top JLPGA players Miho Koga, Shinobu Moromizato and Rui Kitada are also going to participate in this charity event -- "Challenge! Tiger Woods."
