Tiger was rooting for Joe Torre's Dodgers before they got knocked out in the NLCS.
Tiger, who are you cheering for in Major League Baseball right now? I am a huge Phillies fan! Thanks and good luck this year!
Chris from Milford, Conn.
I grew up in SoCal, so I support those teams. Unfortunately, the Dodgers are out of it, so now I'm cheering for my friend Derek Jeter and the New York Yankees. Unfortunately, I don't get to see him a lot, but when I'm in New York, we always try to meet up.
Hi Tiger, I read an article about a speech you made at the 2009 Obama inauguration. I just wanted to tell you that I have read that speech over and over, and every time, I am touched. Thank you for making a difference in this world.
Gerry from Manchester, N.H.
Thanks, Gerry. It was an honor to speak at the inauguration festivities, especially since I was asked to talk about the military. That day, I truly spoke from the heart. Today, we are at war, and I hope everyone understands the sacrifices our brave men and women -- and their families -- make every day. I grew up in a military household, and I am so proud of every individual that puts on a uniform.
Tiger, if golf didn't work out for you, what would you have wanted to grow up and be?
Samantha from Jackson, Tenn.
Great question, Samantha. Like my pop, had I not played golf, I would have been in the military. My dad was a Special Forces operator and was dedicated to his country, the armed forces and his family. I have several friends who are either Seals or serve in Delta Force, and their training, commitment and work ethic always amaze me. We are blessed to have these individuals protecting our country.
Tiger, do you think we will see any new photos of Charlie and Sam? The photo of your family and your dogs is priceless!
Caitlyn from Bakersfield, Calif.
Thanks, Caitlyn. Elin and I know how fortunate we are. It amazes me how quickly Sam and Charlie have grown. I remember when Sam was crawling, and now she's chasing the dogs (and me) throughout the house. I also can't believe Charlie is about eight months old. It's hard to imagine he'll be 1 soon. The more I travel now, the more I appreciate the time I spent at home with my family while I recovered from knee surgery.
Tiger, I know you are totally famous, but is there ever a time in your life when you just wish you could go grocery shopping or to the gym and not be recognized?
Taylor from Raleigh, N.C.
You know, Taylor, I am able to do that. In Orlando, most people are accustomed to seeing me and usually just wave or say "nice playing." Even when I'm on the road, most folks just want to say hi and are very courteous when I'm at dinner. Typically, though, Elin and I are homebodies. Give us a TV, movies, some video games and friends, and we're set for the evening.
