Sheryl Crow entertained a sold-out crowd of 700 in Anaheim.
Hi, Tiger, whom would you say is your favorite musical performer out right now? The Black Eyed Peas are my favorite!
Ella from Lexington, Ky.
The Black Eyed Peas are really good, Ella. I enjoy a lot of groups, but I guess I still like the music from the 1980s the most. We've been very fortunate to have had a lot of great individuals and groups at Block Party, our annual event that benefits The Learning Center. This year, we have Sheryl Crow performing, and she is an amazing talent.
Tiger, I have never played golf in my life, but after watching you, I want to try it. Do you have any beginner tips?
Brian from Anglesey, Wales
Thanks, Brian, and I'm glad that you're going to give golf a try. There are a few things to remember when you begin. First, make sure you have fun. My pop always made it fun when we played together, and I think that's one of the reasons I liked golf so much. Also, when you get your first set of clubs, make sure they fit you properly. Golf is a difficult game, and it's especially tough without the right equipment. Good luck, Brian, and don't get discouraged.
I really have no question, just a thank you for helping me be a better dad. If you can put your family before golf, I needed to take a hard look at myself. Thank you, Tiger Woods, and God bless you and your family.
Kellen from New Haven, Conn.
Thanks, Kellen, I bet you are a great dad. My mom and pop always spent a lot of time with me growing up. We always had fun, but I learned quickly that schoolwork came before sports, even golf. Elin and I love being parents, and we know we're blessed to have Sam and Charlie. As you know, parenthood is a balancing act, and we all try to do the best that we can.
What is your biggest setback of your life to this point?
Kelly from Melbourne, Australia
Kelly, sadly, we all experience pain and setbacks in our lives that we must somehow live through. One of my saddest times was when my pop passed on. He was, and still is, such an integral part of my life. A day doesn't go by when I don't think of him. My admiration and respect for the military comes from his commitment to serving our country. I'm very thankful that I still have my mom, but I do miss Pop.
Are you and your caddie friends outside of the golf world?
Jack from Naples, Fla.
We are, Jack. Stevie is a good friend and fun to be with. On tour, we're together for many weeks and sometimes in some difficult situations on the golf course. We may not always agree, but we respect and like each other a lot. Stevie has a wonderful family, and he's a great dad. Often, he'll fly home to New Zealand to be with his wife and son then come right back to the U.S. for a tournament.
