Punta Brava

Location: Ensenada, Mexico
Project Status: In Design
Website: puntabrava.com

In this dramatic corner of the world, land, sea, and sky converge to form one of the most spectacular coastlines on earth. Punta Brava, meaning "Wild Point," is intimately and privately nestled at the terminus of a peninsula extending seven miles into the Pacific. As the centerpiece of this private ocean and golf community, the golf course will be Tiger Woods Design's first oceanfront project. Positioned to have the most incredible views on the property, the course takes full advantage of its stunning location. As such, Tiger worked with the land, integrating the topography and dramatic rock outcroppings that compose the spectacular shoreline. Seventeen tees or greens sit on the ocean, and eight shots play over water. Additionally, the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes run along the Pacific creating a dramatic finish to what will be a challenging round of golf.
